Overnight bircher with apple & vanilla

I have used apple juice in this recipe however you can experiment with almond milk or a mix of milk, cream and yoghurt depending on how you feel. At weekends why not be a little decadent and add some double cream or full fat yoghurt.


1 cup oats

11/2 cups apple juice (or ½ teaspoon vanilla

Splash of maple syrup.

A few drops of vanilla.

1 cup fat free Greek yoghurt or yoghurt of your choice.

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional) High in protein.

2 grated apples


  1. Add all the above ingredients apart from the raspberries into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  2. Refrigerate
  3. In the morning layer summer porridge with raspberries or simply put raspberries on top depending on how much time you have
